The monthly support group is for anyone affected by epilepsy in the region. Anyone aged 18 or over is welcome to come along, including parents of young children with epilepsy. The meetings are unsuitable for children themselves.
Our meetings are very informal and are intended to provide a meeting point for those affected by epilepsy to share experiences and even make new friends, to remove any feeling of social isolation. The venue of our meetings is as follows:
10 Pilgrim Street
Newcastle upon Tyne
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month (except April and August), and precise dates for the current year can be found in our calendar. Directions to the venue can be obtained by clicking on the map.
The venue can be easily reached by local bus services to the city centre, by metro to the Monument, and by local or mainline rail service to Newcastle Central Station. The Oxford Multi-Storey car park is nearby and is free after 5pm.
